Bit late “joining the discussion” here … my mixergy habit has slowed a little recently…

… but when I saw Dan on here I had to check it out and it was a great listen.

I remember chatting with Dan on Skype in what must have been the last part of 2011 around the same time as I tested out domainpolish.com (and 3 other tools) for getting feedback on different content before launching a website redesign.

I posted about the various tools I tested on my blog … I think Dan might have read the post and reached out but can’t quite remember (and no longer have the Skype logs… I checked!)

Anyway congrats on your success with Firefly Dan (and on graduating) it’s great to see you up here kicking goals.

Firefly looks great and I can totally sympathise with the EXTREME DIFFICULTY of building a tool that needs to interact with arbitrary HTML/CSS across so many different browsers (and with your sentiments that IE is monstrous ;)

I’m not sure what @DanShipper:disqus used but I found http://builtwith.com which let’s you search for companies that are using specific techs. It’s a paid service, though.

@DanShipper:disqus in the 24:02 minute mark of the interview you said you made use of a software that gave you a list of people who make use of chat software. What tool did you use to build the list?
